What I Do
I’m the Deputy Manager of the Supported Living Services in Southampton and Waterlooville. My role is to encourage and support our residents onto the pathway to independence and help them to lead completely fulfilled lives. I work closely with the senior managers, care coordinators and an established team of support staff to provide high quality, person-centred care.
Experience
I joined Chessel Support Services in 2016 as a support worker and have since taken on the role of Deputy Manager. I’ve worked in care for fourteen years and have gained experience supporting adults with a range of learning disabilities and mental health needs. I have experience in many different roles within the industry from support worker, team leader to registered manager. During this time I feel I’ve gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience to help me excel within my role.
About Me
I am an outgoing and caring individual who loves nothing more than spending time with my family and friends, making memories and being there with them through the challenges of life. I enjoy playing and watching a variety of different sports, gardening, DIY and going on holidays. I have a holistic and spiritual approach to life and feel my health and well-being is an important aspect. I am a good listener and always happy to help.
